The sky in Virginia was beautiful at night due to the lack of light pollution. My boyfriend had the genius idea that we should try some long exposures. Wow, did they come out gorgeous - probably my best attempt yet! I thought at first I had captured a shooting star but then he pointed out a plane had flown by.
We were lucky enough to get up close + personal with some farm animals earlier on in the day thanks to a tour provided by his grandmother. Pat was brave enough to say hello to the donkey with the most amazing blue eyes. I probably would have taken more photos on this trip if it had been a bit warmer.

Just for reference for all my other photographers attempting long exposures;
the top two photos were taken on a tripod using a Sony A73 and Sigma 35mm 1.2
Settings - F 1.6, ISO 800, 30 seconds
